*रंग लेखणीचे परिवार* *आठवडा क्रमांक: ११३* *विषय क्रमांक- ४: जगण्यात मौज आहे (कथा)* *शब्दांकन : योगेश गोगवेकर* हल्लीच सुंदराबाई हॉल मध्ये पुस्तकांचे प्रदर्शन लागले  होते. तेथे काही पुस्तकं विकत घेत असताना माझ्या पाठीवर एक थाप पडली. मागे वळून पाहतो तर माझा कॉलेज पासून असलेला मित्र शंतनू होता. खूप दिवसांनी  आम्ही भेटत होतो. आम्ही पुस्तके घेऊन बाहेर आल्यावर बराच वेळ बोलत उभे राहिलो आणि जुन्या आठवणी काढत आजपर्यंत काय केले यावर चर्चा करत राहिलो. तो मला सांगत होता आज माझ्याकडे सर्व आहे. मुंबईत दोन घरं आहेत, वीकएंड साठी पुण्याजवळ एक सुंदर घर बांधले आहे. आजच्या स्पर्धात्मक जगात इतका गुंतून गेलो की त्यातून बाहेर येणे जमलेच नाही. सर्व काही मिळवले, लग्न झालं, मुलं झाली आणि वाटलं आता मस्त पैकी आराम करून आयुष्य घालवू. पण कसले काय! वाढत्या वयाबरोबर स्पर्धेमध्ये भाग घेणे अशक्य होऊ लागले. आता तर ऑफिसची कामे फोनवर होऊ लागली होती. शरीर सहज पणे साथ देत नव्हते. घरात सर्वाना त्यांची त्यांची कामे होती, त्यामुळे आपापसातील संवाद कमी  होत गेला. मित्र हि आता भेटत नव्हते. रोजचे कार्यक्रम तेच तेच होत...

Our mind becomes restless due to Bad news and we are not able to find out the exact way. To come out of this pandemic situation, we have to do such activities through which our mind will remain busy. For that purpose, one has to read books or to listen to music or to watch any films or to do the paintings.  While doing this, you will come across with new good poems or wonderful writings or you can find someone is singing beautiful songs. This will help you to come out of such a pandemic situation to see the new world.  During this lockdown period, I used to continuously watch one musical English movie which is all time hit. *On the meaning of life : जीवनाचा अर्थ, विल डुरंट ह्यांचे पिढ्यानं पिढ्या उपयुक्त ठरणारे पुस्तकं* अस्वस्थ वातावरणात काही पुस्तकं हळुवारपणे मनाला फुंकर घालून नवीन जीवन जगण्याची ऊर्जा निर्माण करीत असतात. मग ती पुस्तकं कुठल्याही भाषेत असो. असेच एक इंग्रजी पुस्तक अलीकडे माझ्या वाचनात आले. त्या पुस्तकाचे नाव आहे On the meaning of life. त्यात जीवनाचा अर्थ सांगण्याचा किंवा समजून घेण्याचा प्रयत्न विल डुरंट ह्या लेखकाने केला आहे. हे पुस्तक 1932 रोजी प्रकाशित झाले पण ते आजच्याही पिढीला उपयुक्त होईल असेच आहे. विल डुरंट एक तत्वज्ञानी आणि इतिहासकार होते. 1930 वर्षाच्या अखेरीस एक चांगले कपडे घातलेला अनोळखी माणूस विल डुरंट ह्यांच्या न्यूयॉर्क येथील घरासमोर आला आणि त्याने डुरंट ह्यांच्याजवळ जीवन जगण्याचा अर्थ काय असा प्रश्न केला. जीवन जगण्यासाठी काही तात्विक कारणे आहेत का अशी विचारणी केली. जर ती तात्विक कारणे मिळाली नाही तर तो आपले आयुष्य संपवून टाकणार असे त्याने डुरंट यांना सांगितले. डुरंट ह्यांनी अनेक कारणे देऊन त्याला आत्महत्येपासून दूर करण्याचा प्रयत्न केला. परंतु तो मनुष्य तेथून निघून गेला आणि पर...

One Beautiful Song एक सुंदर इंग्रजी गाणे   माझ्या सर्व मित्र मैत्रिणींना, मी योगेश गोगवेकर तुम्हास सांगू इच्छितो.... 22 मार्च 2020 पासून आपण सर्वजण एका विचित्र परिस्थितीतून जात आहोत. आज नऊ महिन्यानंतरहि परिस्थितीत फारसा फरक पडलेला नाही. त्यातून अनेक वाईट बातम्या कानावर येत आहेत. अशावेळेस मन खूपच अस्वस्थ होते आणि काहीही करावासे वाटतं नाही. मग अशा अस्वथ मनाला फुंकर घालण्यासाठी स्वतःला आवडलेल्या काही गोष्टी परत एकदा वाचणे, ऐकणे  किंवा पाहणे एवढाच कार्यक्रम राहतो. ते करत असतानाच कोणीतरी नवीन काव्य करतो,  कुणी सुंदर गाणं गातो, कुणी छान लिहीत असतो. तेव्हा मनात निर्माण झालेला अस्वस्थपणा दूर होतो आणि जगाकडे पाहण्याची नवीन दृष्टी तयार होते. ह्या टाळेबंदीच्या काळात अशा अस्वथ वेळी मी एक इंग्रजी चित्रपट परत परत पाहत असे. तो इंग्रजी चित्रपट होता The Sound Of Music. एक सुंदर संगीतमय चित्रपट. ह्या चित्रपटाबद्धल मी माझा लेख लिहिणार आहे पण इथे मी त्या चित्रपटातील एक गाणे जे मला खूप आवडते आणि मला कठीण परिस्थितीत जगण्याची ऊर्जा निर्माण करते. ते मूळ गाणं इंग्रजी भाषेतील देत आहे आणि त्याचा मर...
