Night : An Eye opening book Eliezer Wiesel was a writer and holocaust survivor settled down in United State of America from 1954 onwards. He was born on 20 th September 1928 in Carpathian Mountains in Romania. He used to regularly speak Yiddish language and also comfortable in Hungarian, German and Romanian languages. His family was farmer by profession and having great respect within the Jew Community. In March 1944, Nazi of Germany occupied the Hungary and Eliezer Wiesel at the age of 15 along with his family and rest of the Jew community deported to Auschwitz Concentration Camp where ninety percent of the people were killed by German soldiers on their arrival. In this camp, his Parents along with one sister got killed and he and two sisters were survived as Army of United State of America liberated them in 1945.
